Concept 

The International Council of Museums is an international organisation of museums and museum professionals which is committed to the research, conservation, continuation and communication to society of the world's natural and cultural heritage, present and future, tangible and intangible.

On 1-7 September 2019, Kyoto will be the first Japanese city to receive some 3,000 participants to the ICOM General Conference. We, the JARL Kyoto Memorial Station Executive Committee, decided to establish two memorial stations in order to support public relations activity of this event.We will operate 1kW station for our friends spreading all over the world besides providing small portable operations for domestic hams.

8J3ICOM and 8N3ICOM have been QRT as of Dec 31st 2019. During our activation, we were fully able to contribute to support public relations activity of the ICOM 2019. The number of QSOs are up to 13756 totally. Considerably, it is much enough to achieve our aim. Many thanks shuld go to every station which called us and made QSO(s) with us. Even after QRT, QSL cards spreaded out to all over the world will work to make many people remember this special event which was held in Kyoto.
